Third Anniversary, new vinyl, podcast, digital releases and more
This month is the third Simplex Records anniversary. Three years on that some of the best artist of the minimal techno scene have passed through our lines, together with young talent already consolidated, many of whom were released making his debut at Simplex. It is difficult to express the satisfaction that comes from being in direct contact with the music you love and which can not stop learning. That is the message we want to trasmit, giving thanks to a long list of artists whose collaborations have allowed us to get to this point, an audience that supports the initiative and the work of an independent group of electronic musicians.
This April reappears Roberto Vilas, one of our most emblematic artists and co-founder of the label, after his release on vinyl (SIMPLEX001) with Touane and Dualism he gift us with three original tunes where Roberto prints again his very personal style and underground own brand with the help of Nita. Vocalist who has worked on projects as Chambao or Fuel Fandango. Also this month we are releasing on Beatport an advance in digital format from the next vinyl, our fourth (SIMPLEX004) with 5 of the greatest international artists of the moment. Sena Gallica is a work which original cut on the A side is run by the two Italians Andrea Giuliani & Luca Rossetti, who have created a special minimal track for their first release on vinyl. Pure groove accompanied by Miro Pajic & Angy Kore on the remixes which complete this record and perfectly defines the purity of this style of music. Including a track that can only be downloaded from Beatport during the two months following the launch, remixed by the talented English artist Hans Bouffmyhre. The vinyl will be available in specialist shops on 9 May and on digital two week earlier.
Early support by Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola, Paco Osuna, Davide Squillace, Someone Else, Tony Verdi, The Junkies, Joachim, Superferric and many more.
